I rarely use this Tumblr thing for the purpose I had in mind when I set it up. It’s time.
Stop cheating. Stop submitting me stuff you’ve copied off the Internet, because I will find out. Stop thinking that I won’t notice if your level of English goes from passable to perfect from one paragraph to the next. A simple Google search will pick that up. Stop thinking that I don’t know who you sit next to in class, and who you speak to all the time, and that if you submit something exactly the same as your friends have submitted, I’m not going to notice.
Maybe you don’t understand that I want to give you marks. I look everywhere to find a reason to give you a point, if I can. I’ve told you all this before. But if you cheat, there is nothing I can do; you leave me absolutely no recourse. I can’t give you marks when youhaven’t done anything. I don’t like being in that situation, even though it drastically speeds up the marking process.
